The golf course at Maywood opened in 1995 and was immediately voted one of the best new golf courses by Golf Digest. The original designer was David Pfaff, a renowned golf architect from Carmel, California.

As part of our total facility renovation, we have remodeled our golf shop and made it a superior full-service operation that offers a full range of products to our members and guests. In 2005 Bardstown Country Club received the Merchandiser of the Year for semi-private, public, and municipal golf courses throughout the state of Kentucky.

You will find the prices offered at Bardstown Country Club match the most competitive prices available in the nation. "We recognize that there are many different outlets to acquire golf products whether it be golf discount stores or the internet, so we must offer the lowest prices acceptable in today's market," says owner Chris Osborne.

We offer a wide variety of brands in all the categories of products it carries. Among the clothing brands available are Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Ashworth, Callaway and Monterey Club.

All the top golf club manufacturers have developed an assortment of products to assist the golfers of today. In golf shops at Maywood and Woodlawn Springs you will find all of the top club manufacturers including Taylor Made, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, and Titleist.

We also have three PGA professionals on staff that are certified to do club-fitting. Everyone who buys a new set of irons should be custom fit to make sure the clubs are built to the correct specifications.

If you need to work on your golf game, we are ready to help you improve. Jim Osborne, PGA, Chris Osborne, PGA, Matt Kirchgessner PGA Apprentice or Aaron Kelley, PGA Apprentice are very experienced in working with players of all abilities. The standard lesson rates are $35 for a one half-hour session or $70 for an hour session for a PGA Member and $25 for a one half hour or $50 for an hour lesson with an Apprentice. Juniors under the age of 18 are $10 off for one half-hour or $20 off for an hour session. Lesson packages are also available at a reduced rate. Call today to set up an appointment.

Both Bardstown Country Club golf shops have gift certificates available that can be used for golf, merchandise, or even in the Grill restaurant.

Currently we open at 8:00 am on weekday mornings and 7:30 on weekend mornings. The shop closes at 6:00pm every evening throughout the week.
